Now it is official that the opening ceremony and the matches of the first ever European universities championships in Water polo will be hold at the summer outdoor swimming pool in Žusterna. The EUC opening ceremony will be hold on Sunday, July 21st, at 19.00 local time.
After carefully re-considering the advantages and the disadvantages of the locations the EUC organizers with their local partners came to the decision, that the competition part of the first European universities championship in Water polo will be hold at the outdoor swimming pool in Žusterna, which is in fact the home place of the Water polo in the region.
The official opening of the European universities championship in Water polo will be hold at the summer outdoor swimming pool in Žusterna, as originally planned. So the matches of the Water polo teams will be closer to the EUC Beach Volleyball venues, the meals will be served just across the street and there will be much more spectators on the outdoor stands. The competition will take place in a beautiful sea area, with spectacular sunsets and the final magic touch under the sky enlighted by stars.
